Ikarus is my dream of a Wordpress Theme come to life. I’ve spent 3 months developing it and it’s absolutely perfect, with over 2,000+ user selectable variations and options all managed from the admin area. Four (4) homepage layouts (magazine, list, blog and magazine lis), over 10 colors that you can mix and match, left or right layout and tons more.

I noticed the comments do not work in the POSTs, but the do work for PAGEs, thought this insight might help. It suggests the COMMENTS code works. I checked my tables and they are set to OPEN COMMENTS so that is not the problem. It looks like it should be the logic in page.php. Everything else seems to work great. I swapped the large image for a sliding selectable graphic. For me it takes it to the next level. Check it out at http://pmestl.com. The site is still being tweaked, but it is looking good already. GREAT options section!!!!

Really, really, REALLY love the Ikarus theme, but am chomping at the bit to get the post comments issue sorted. Will keep checking back to see when it’s done as I won’t be able to release my website until this has been done… no pressure

Well it’s been months now, have the issues with Ikarus been sorted yet?

I found the download link for the theme here on this site but is it the latest updated for 2.8.4 link? It doesn’t say and I just wanted to be sure I download the newest version, including Ikarus White. Could you give us the link here please? Thank you:)

I had no idea WP was not giving you credit for your work. I modified my footer to link back to your site. We are changing our site all the time as we build it out. Now that the pictures and a number of articles have been flushed out it looks great. The sliding pictures is a modification of an outdated WP theme I found called Sliding Doors, Wayne created (http://mac-host.com/support). It works great, just not compatible out of the box with the new WP changes.

In IE8 header is center, rest is left. Has anyone a solution for it? In mozilla, Opera 6 others all is center.

In the process of hiring another designer. No one can can seem to comprehend and manage the spoke of the work i’ve done on this theme. I might end up having to do it myself. I feel horrible for not being able to offer the kinda support it needs

I am trying to figure out what is wrong with the comments section of the theme. I see that others are having similar issues. Please let me know if there is something that I can do myself to get the comments working on the blog. I really need the comments section!!!!

I do have a problem with centering my content and sidebar.
Header and footer are centered but content and sidebar aren’t.
How can I solve taht problem ?

Hopefully you’re able to solve the centering issue for IE 8 soon. I feel that it is the biggest draw back on your theme, as the commenting issue isn’t that huge of a turn off.
